This raffle benefited the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, with a special focus on hemangiosarcoma research. Together, we raised $1,775 — the highest total ever for a Jupiter Golden Jubilee sweepstakes!

Karen Killian is a self-taught portrait artist working primarily in oil, in a style of "soft realism". She paints commissioned portraits of people and animals, and especially loves painting them together, always a story! She lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the beautiful artists' colony of Tyron, North Carolina.

Her subjects frequently include Goldens and other furry friends! This limited edition print, "Shaken, Not Stirred," captures Killian's unique style, playfulness, and the warmth of the Golden Retriever
